FeedHacker — Support

Fixes for the common problems, and how to get in touch. FeedHacker runs entirely in your browser, so almost everything can be checked and fixed from its own settings.

FeedHacker isn't hiding anything

  1. Open the FeedHacker popup from Chrome's toolbar and check that it is enabled and that at least one kind of post is muted.
  2. Reload your LinkedIn tab. After FeedHacker updates, an open tab keeps running the old version until it is reloaded.
  3. FeedHacker works on the LinkedIn home feed in English. Other pages and other languages may not be filtered.
  4. LinkedIn changes its page layout from time to time, and a change can stop FeedHacker recognising posts until an update catches up. Check that you are on the latest version (see Updating).

FeedHacker is hiding too much

Seeing why a post was hidden

Open Advanced Settings from the popup. The AI-slop decision log lists recent decisions with the score and the signals that fired, and Export log (JSON) saves it to a file. The log stays on your computer unless you choose to share it.

Updating

Chrome updates Web Store extensions automatically, usually within a few hours of a release. To update straight away, open Advanced Settings and use Check for updates and then Update now, then reload your LinkedIn tab.

Starting over

Factory reset in Advanced Settings clears everything FeedHacker has stored — settings, muted authors, the learned model and the logs — and restores the defaults.

Getting in touch

Questions, bug reports and suggestions are welcome:

If you report a problem, say which version you are on (shown in Advanced Settings) and what you saw on the feed.
